The Cottage
  • Two beautifully styled bedrooms; One room has a king size 4 poster bed, the other room has a king size sleigh bed and a single bed (sleeping 5 people in total) and each room has its own en-suite bathroom

  • Unique layout with large, private rooms which are separate but connected with a covered veranda - ideal for two couples or a family

  • Each bathroom has a luxurious 2 person walk in shower

  • Our cottage is powered exclusively by solar power, harvested rainwater, and heated by logs cut from the land

Facilities
  • Unique open-air, well stocked kitchen with a BBQ and wood-fire pizza oven, equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast - loved by everyone who visits!

  • Coffee pod machine, microwave and bar fridge in each room, and a selection of teas and coffees in the kitchen pantry 

  • Television, Netflix, wifi, a reading library and board games in each room

  • Large covered veranda connecting the 2 bedrooms, complete with hammocks, which leads out to a huge 50m2 deck that takes in the whole view!

  • Veggie and herb gardens, seasonal fruit from the orchard - and collect your own fresh eggs from the chook house

  • Fire basket with bench seating, perfect for winter campfires and star gazing

Things to do
  • Bush walks - walk around the property or use our rain forest path that connects to the Great North Walk

  • Try your hand at fishing or fly fishing - we have silver perch in one dam, and rainbow trout in another

  • Bird watching - there are nearly 100 different bird species in the area, many of which you can see at the property using our binoculars and bird identification book

  • Relax! read a book, have a picnic, sip a glass of local wine and watch the sunset...

  • Explore a working farm with olive groves and highland cattle

  • Enjoy the food, wine, hot air balloons and art of the Hunter Valley
